Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (NYSE:HTX) – HTIL to de-list its shares from both exchanges.
Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL) and Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (HTIL) plans to de-list its shares from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 25 May 2010 and from the NYSE on 04 June 2010, pending approval from the local court and shareholders. On 07 January 2010 HWL and HTIL jointly announced the latter's offer to take the former company private for HK$4.23 bn (US$545 mn). In light of the proposed buy-out and plans to de-list from the Hong Kong Stock exchange, we do not anticipate any change in our current rating. In light of proposed delisting of shares from the NYSE on 04 June 2010, pending shareholder approval, we do not anticipate any change in our current rating.
